FAQ

Lighting Candles

  • Trim your wick to 1/4 in. before use and between burns to prevent the wick from mushrooming & soot.
  • Always burn your candle within sight and away from drafts and flammable materials.
  • Allow the top layer to fully liquify to avoid candle tunneling (approx. 2 hr.). This will create an even burn and maximize scent throw.
  • Keep the wax pool free of wick trimming, matches, and debris.
  • Do not burn your candle longer than 4 hr.
  • Keep your candle dry, leveled, and protected. Only burn on heat resistant surfaces and do not burn a candle under anything (e.g., lamp shade, plant).
  • Do not touch the vessel while burning and stop burning when ½ in. of wax remains.
  • Extinguish your candle with a snuffer or gently blow to prevent hot wax from splashing.
  • Keep away from children and pets.

 

Burning Incense

Pressed & Paper Incense

  1. Light the end, quickly extinguish, & place on an incense burner or a heat resistant surface. Always burn in a ventilated area.
  2. For an uninterrupted burn, place on ash or sand in a heat resistant burner.

Loose Herbal Incense
  1. Place burner on a solid surface (e.g., ceramic, glass, metal).
  2. Pour ash or sand onto the burner along with coal.
  3. Ignite coal with a butane torch until sparks ripple.
  4. Sprinkle a dime size of loose incense on & around the sides of the coal.
  5. Never touch a coal until completely cooled.

Storing & Preserving Perfume

  • Keep the caps on the bottles
  • Store away from sunlight
  • Avoid humid areas i.e bathrooms
  • Keep in a dry area and away from heaters
  • Keep perfume in original box until ready to use

Order Status

Orders are processed and shipped within three to five business days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking and confirmation information. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking code and link to be activated.

U.S. Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped within 3-5 business days. We do not ship or process orders on weekends or major holidays.

We are unable to make any modifications to an order after it has been processed. Contact the shipping courier directly to manage redirecting requests. 

International Shipping

Unfortunately, we do not ship outside of the United States at this time. 

Returns & Exchanges

We are unable to accept exchanges, returns, or issue refunds at this time.

Replacements

Route Protection must be purchased at the time of your order to replace items that are lost in transit or damaged. They will be replaced at no cost to you or you can request a refund. To qualify for a replacement, your request must be submitted to hello@8-12.co within 48 hours of delivery receipt.
